I have just added 4 HQ scans of Jaime from the June 2010 issue of “Health” magazine!
Jaime Pressly, 32, sits on the balcony of her Los Angeles home, looking incredibly content. No surprise: Pressly—who won an Emmy for her role on My Name Is Earl and is at work on a new TV pilot—is loving life with her husband of eight months, Simran Singh, and son, Dezi. Here, she shares how she lost the baby weight, how she deals with Hollywood’s forever-young pressure, and what her ideal workout is. (It’s so not yoga!)
Q: Last fall, you took the plunge and got married. How did you know that Simran was The One?
A: I just knew. It was like, Oh my god—there he is. There was a feeling of security that I hadn’t felt with anyone else. But we’re polar opposites—he’s quiet, and I’m the talky pants. He’s a lawyer, and I’m like the crazy client he has to represent. We work well together.
Q: Your husband is a vegetarian and you’re not. Have your eating habits changed as a result?
A: I eat a lot less red meat. And believe me, I’m from the South—I love meat and potatoes. I’m good at cooking fish, but I’m also good at cooking sauces because I’m Southern, and sauces are our thing.
Q: Are sauces partly why you gained 42 pounds while pregnant?
A: Yeah. I didn’t care. It was the first time in my life I could eat whatever whenever I wanted, and I did. Honey, I ate everything I could see.
Q: How long did it take you to lose the weight?
A: Three months. But I lost the first 32 pounds by my 30th birthday, which we celebrated in Vegas. We had pool parties, and I was not about to be chunky. I did the cabbage soup diet twice in a row. It lasts six days, and you eat cabbage soup three to four times a day. But one day, you can also eat up to eight bananas.
Q: Did you really eat eight bananas?
A: I did, because I was breast-feeding and hungry. On the third day, you’re so excited because you get half a baked potato. You can have any size potato, so I was at the store trying to find the jumbo ones. I was like, Where are the ones that they genetically made ginormous? I was also working out two hours a day—you have to work out.
Q: What’s a typical workout for you?
A: I get bored easily, so my trainer, Mike Jones, introduced me to the [suspension training system] TRX. It’s two handles you can attach to a bar or a doorway. You use your body weight for resistance. We also do abs, plus 150 to 200 squats. We work the inner and outer thighs, the quads, the hamstrings. I enjoy feeling the burn and pushing myself.
Q: Are there any fitness trends you regret trying?
A: I am not a yoga person. They say it would be good for me because I’m a Type A person, and it would relax me, but I like action. Yoga’s too Zen for me!
Q: How do you deal with the pressure to stay young and beautiful in Hollywood?
A: I’ve never felt that pressure. Part of that is because I know myself. I’m someone who likes to be in shape because it makes me feel good. But I eat junk food, too.
Q: Is there a beauty product you can’t live without?
A: My La Mer moisturizer. Also, my St. Ives facial scrub that I’ve been using for 12 years! And L’Oréal Voluminous mascara.
Q: Any more kids in your future?
A: Not right this second, but definitely. One or two more.
Q: Whose body do you covet in Hollywood?
A: When I think of legs I always think of Shirley MacLaine on Broadway. She’s always been one of my idols because she’s funny, sassy, ballsy, smart, spiritual.
Q: Is there anything wrong with plastic surgery?
A: I believe in the saying, “To each his own.” Who knows, when I’m 56 years old I may want to change something. I don’t want anyone to judge me, so I’m not going to judge them.

I have just added 9 HQ scans of Jaime’s cover and feature from the Winter 2010 issue of “In Style Weddings”! Jaime looks absolutely amazing and there is even photos from Jaime and Sim’s wedding – its a definite must see!
Jaime is featured on the cover and inside of the Winter 2010 issue of “InStyle Weddings” magazine.
People has a preview of her issue!
Jaime Pressly never wanted to tie the knot. But a girl can change her mind.
A mere four months after the Emmy winner, who plays trailer-queen Joy Turner on NBC’s My Name is Earl, met entertainment lawyer Simran Singh, Pressly was sailing down the aisle, dressed in a Caroline Herrera embroidered tulle gown, aglow with diamonds and pearls. Witnessing the picture-postcard September wedding on a Malibu bluff overlooking the Pacific – where the bride danced with her father to Louis Armstong’s “It’s a Wonderful World” – were 200 guests.
Now others may get a glimpse at the nuptials, in the winter 2010 issue of InStyle Weddings. Pressly, 32, says that even though her romance was whirlwind, the relationship is firmly grounded.
“I’ve been on my own for 17 years. I have a son, Dez James, who is 2 years old [from former longtime boyfriend, DJ Eric Cubiche] and a successful career,” she says. “I’m not flying by the seat of my pants. We’re both ready.”
Yet the sizzling connection between her and her now-husband felt like a bolt from the sky. “I was attracted to him right away. His smile, his beautiful skin – and there’s a wonderful intelligence about him,” she says.
In the past, Pressly admits she was usually attracted to charismatic guys – and the 6′,4″ Singh is ultra-reserved. “I loosen him up a bit and he makes me feel protected and loved,” says the smitten bride. “Sim is the first person I met that I was confident I would be able to grow old with.”
Jaime is featured on the cover and in a 9 page spread of the March 2009 issue of “Shape” magazine. JPFAN kindly scanned the issue for us and we have scans in our gallery! Click on the thumbnails below to see all the scans.

Jaime Pressly, the Emmy-winning star of My Name Is Earl (and of the soon-to-be-released romantic comedy I Love You, Man) shows of her amazing body and spills her secrets for getting sculpted in the new issue of Shape.
Jaime reveals that she allowed herself to eat whatever she wanted while she was pregnant. “I gained 42 pounds,” the 5-foot-4-inch actress tells Shape. “That’s a lot of weight for mama!” After her son was born, she set a specific goal: to get back in shape in time for her 30th birthday party. “I needed to get in the gym and run on the treadmill and lift weights,” she says.
Despite their best efforts, Jaime and fiancé Eric Cubiche recently split up. “We’re going through a rough patch,” says Jaime. “There are no bad feelings there. It’s not like someone cheated on someone else. Sometimes you need to take a step back and figure out what you need. For now we’re concentrating on being good parents.”
Four days a week, Los Angeles trainer Mike Jones leads Jaime through a circuit-training session that might include anything from kickboxing to power-lifting moves.

I have added scans from “Men’s Health Best Life” magazine into our gallery, thanks to the wonderful JPFAN.
The images are awesome (one of my fave Jaime shoots) and it’s a cute article about keeping the romance alive after baby. Click on the thumbnails to be taken to the gallery album.

Thanks to the lovelies at the fan board for the information, Jaime is the cover girl for BlackBook Magazine. Check out a preview picture and the article below. I’ll be adding scans as soon as I can pick up the magazine.
Her rise to the A-list may have come as a surprise to those who think of her as the quintessential Maxim girl in Daisy Dukes. Stinson Carter, however, reveals the smarts and talent hidden behind that sassy gal named “Joy” who millions of beer-swilling viewers know on a first-name basis. “Pass the Pinot, please.”
“The brash side is all anybody wants to show,” says Jaime Pressly. “You know why I haven’t volunteered personal information to reporters? Because I know they don’t give a damn; they want to keep me where they have me.”
Where she is on our first interview is inside her house. It isn’t an Airstream. Jaime Pressly answers the door of her Mediterranean revival home in the North San Fernando Valley, holding an English Bulldog and a Boxer by their couture-designer collars. Her around-the-house-casual zippered jacket and drawstring pants give her the look of an off-duty model, and the heavily teased hair she sports on “My Name Is Earl” is pinned back with the easy elegance of a Hepburn, not a hardware store pin-up girl.
